ChatPlus Privacy Policy

ChatPlus provides an AI-powered productivity app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed and protected when you use the ChatPlus App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

No Account Required

You can use ChatPlus without creating an account. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or any government-issued identifiers.

Information You Choose to Provide

To deliver app features, ChatPlus processes content that you submit, including:

• Text input: Messages and prompts you send to the AI.
• Files and images: Documents or images you upload for analysis.
• Voice input: Audio used to convert speech into text.

This information is used only to perform the actions you request. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

AI Processing and Third-Party Services

To provide AI-powered responses, ChatPlus securely transmits user-submitted content to trusted third-party AI service providers.

• Service Providers: Depending on the model selected by the user, data (such as text prompts, voice input, or uploaded files) is transmitted to OpenAI, DeepSeek, Perplexity, or xAI (Grok). Image generation requests are processed via Fal.ai (Flux models).
• User-Directed Sharing: Data is transmitted only to the specific provider selected and active at the time of the user’s request.
• Data Protection: We use Enterprise/API service tiers. These providers offer a level of data protection equal to our own and do not use submitted data to train their public AI models.
• Encryption: All content is transmitted using encrypted connections (TLS 1.2 or higher) and is processed solely to provide the requested functionality.
• Limited Retention by Providers: While ChatPlus does not store user-submitted content on its own servers, certain providers may temporarily retain submitted data for a short, limited period strictly for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and compliance with their safety policies.

Data Storage and Retention

We follow a privacy-first, minimal-retention approach.

• Chat history is stored locally on your device. We do not host your conversations on our servers.
• Uploaded images, files, and voice data are processed in temporary memory and are automatically deleted shortly after processing, typically within 60 seconds.
• If you delete chats or remove the App, the data is removed from your device and cannot be recovered by ChatPlus.

Technical Diagnostics

To keep the App stable, we collect limited technical diagnostics data, such as device type, operating system version, and crash information. This data is not linked to your identity or your submitted content. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

Notifications

ChatPlus may send notifications related to app functionality, service updates, or subscription status. Notifications are sent only if you grant permission through the iOS system-level consent prompt. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device settings. We do not send advertising or promotional notifications.

Payments and Subscriptions

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. ChatPlus does not collect or store payment details. We receive only an anonymized confirmation to verify subscription status. Subscription management and cancellations are handled through your Apple ID settings.

User Control and Deletion

You remain in control of your data. You can delete individual chats or clear all conversation history within the App settings. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data from your device.

Children’s Privacy

ChatPlus is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly process personal information from children. If we become aware that such data has been submitted, it will be promptly deleted.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information from unauthorized access or misuse. While no system can guarantee absolute security, protecting user data is a top priority.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
